The kids dad has not been taking the kids, by his own choice.. He is such a loser..... I am not bashing men, but I do not consider him a man.... I know things have really sucked there for awhile but we are doing so much better....<br /><br />I called the X yesterday to see if he was going to pick up the kids and of course he started giving me attitude, he said it wa up to the kids because he was not going to make them see him.. Well I asked if he was going to spend some alone time with them and he says no, so of course I tell him the reason that the kids do not want to go is because of his g/f.. I have a little story to tell you about her and my kids.... He of course says he will not give up the g/f for 3 hours to spend with his kids alone, i just told him he is a sad father and hung up on him.... When the kids got home I asked them if they wanted to go and they asked if the g/f was going to be with their dad and I said yes they both refused to go, so they called him and of course he was fine with that...<br /><br />Ok now for the story..........<br /><br />2 weeks ago the kids were witht heir dad for the weekend and on saturday they were all over the soon to be X's brothers having a cook out, well they needed to run to the store and the x asked Shelby(my daughter) to go to another isle and grab something, well his g/f's daughter was in shelby's way so she just moved the little girl out of her way and the g/f started going off on shelby for supposably pushing her daughter and shelby told her off... Well when they got back to the house, the g/f was feeding her kids and told gavin(my son) that he had to eat and he told her he was not hungry yet and she started going off on him, well he went outside to his dad and told him she was yelling at him and his dad said he didn't want to hear it, that Gavin must have done something wrong for her to yell, well that upset Gavin.. So when the kids came home they told me about it and i got on the phone to the X and started bitching, i told him that she better never yell at my kids and he better start being a father and stand up for his kids, the g/f was in the back ground screaming shit to me and I told him to turn that car around and bring her back here because I was going to kick her ass..... I was so upset....<br /><br />Well anyway I ended up at the ER last night with my son, he was pushing on of his trucks around outside and fell and hit his elbow on a rock(the elbow he broke 2 yrs ago) well it started to swell up and i started freaking out thinking he broke it again, well all he did was bruise it real bad, they gave him pain meds and a ice pack....<br /><br />Today I called his dad to tell him and ask him what time he was picking the kids up tomorrow and he informed me that he was not picking them up and the MAYBE next week he will..... My daughter went to a friends house after school and then decided to stay the night, so my son asked to have one of his friends stay here and so far they have been getting along... The kids went with their dad but he brought them back that night and he worked on saturday and told me that he would here after he got out at 12pm, well he never showed up until 2:45pm, he was with his g/f, well the kids went and when they came home that night they had alot to tell me, so by the time they were done I was really pissed off... Their dad let his g/f belittle my children in front on alot of people and it upset them terribly, so I called him and told him to forget about getting them on sunday and that if I caught the Hag, I was going to kick her ass... She has no right doing that to my kids and he is a worthless father to let it happen....<br /><br />Well Happy Birthday to me on the 22nd, the kids stayed home with me and them and Erik made me breakfast and I got flowers and cards and a purple lillac bush from my brother and his g/f. It was a good b-day for once.....<br /><br />I took my brother and his g/f to Grand Rapids to a baby specialist and they could not see the bottom part of the baby's spine so she has to go back in June... I hope the baby is fine.....<br /><br />The X called on Wednesday to say he would be late getting the kids and i just told him to pick them up on Thursday, he agreed... Well on Thursday the kids decided that they did not want to go with him, so they called him and told him to not come get them and he was fine with it, is that not a bunch of crap... I better nominate him for Father of the Year....... NOT!!!!!!!!!<br /><br />So I am just sitting here by myself today, enjoying the quiet..... She was not fast enough and got hit right above her right eye and had to be rushed to the ER and got 6 stitches... I swear they want me to have gray hair... At first she did not want to go with her dad but then she changed her mind, so her and my son went with him, he is going to bring them back tomorrow night, so they can be with me on Mother's Day...<br />I hear thunder outside, I love a good thunder storm... Went to NY saturday and of course it was a terrible trip because it snowed, seems like everytime we go it snows. My b/f's son is here from NY, we have to take him back tomorrow..<br />To update you on the b/f situation I sat and had a long talk with him about his way of thinking and his feelings about how the kids are.. I just explained to him that there is no man worth give my kids up for and that if he could not handle it then he could move on. We talked for a good 4 hours about alot of things and got alot of things worked out. I could not stand to be away from him for a min. He showed concern for my children and I thought that was wonderful.<br />Well now a days we fight more because he thinks that his way of thinking is the only way and if you don't do, say the way he wants he is pissed off. Of course he is NEVER wrong according to him.<br />My heart skips a beat now from trying to avoid a argument. He is still caring and loving but it is not the same as in the begining. Sometimes I think being alone would be so much better.<br />He has a real problem with my kids and the way they act, but they are typical kids and do nothing out of the ordinary. My kids like to spend alot of time with me and he has a problem with that, I want my kids to be comfortable with me and feel that they can come to me about anything and he thinks that it is wrong to be friends with your children... I do not want my kid afraid of me like his kid. His kid is so hateful and mean and I do not want my kids like that....<br />Don't get me wrong I love him and care about him and he is a good person, we just don't see eye to eye on alot of things. I always thought I would have a great job and a wonderful husband, a nice house and car, enough money to just be comfortable. Well let me tell you none of that has happened...<br />To be a child again with dreams.........<br />I sit and think about my future, wow a person would have to be real open minded, because everything I want in my future seems so far away. When it seems close there is always something in the way. It feels like someone has my future on a string dangling it in front of me and when i go to grab it they yank it away.<br />It seems that in the last 4 months of my life, I start to see the light at the end of the tunnel and as it gets closer it turns out to be a damn train.<br /><br />I woke up this morning and for some reason I felt so alone, Yes I have my kids and b/f here but i was still all alone. Our first court date is March 28,2005 at 2:30pm.<br />But I will bring you up to speed to this point.<br />I got married in 1989 to a guy that i thought i would spend the rest of my life with, boy was i wrong... I finally realized that even though I was married I was a single parent, he was never around for us. I remember times I had to beg people for money for food for the kids, I also had wrote bad checks to get food and had to pay fines and go to a check writing class, the soon to be X did not care if we had food to eat or not. We were homeless at one point. Well after 15 years and all the things that happened like cheating on me, holding out the money, never being here for me or the kids.
